This village pub will be throwing a street food festival to mark the event. The festival, which will be free to enter, will be taking place on bank holiday Monday (May 8) in the pub’s garden, with DJs and kid’s entertainment from 12pm to 9pm. As well as a garden picnic party, Workington will play host to a funfair, family games, market stalls and pet shows before the parade at 1pm. Head to the historic Cardiff Castle to watch the coronation ceremony on the big screen. Bring your own picnic or enjoy the treats on offer from local traders, but please remember alcohol is not permitted. This afternoon of fun and feasting will also feature local performers, funfair rides and much more for all ages to enjoy. Oldham Town will host one of the UK’s big screens so that communities can gather to watch the event together. The screen will be located in Parliament Square, Oldham and will broadcast the Coronation Ceremony live and celebrate together in this free public event.

City Centre celebratory decorations It is expected that Hogan will produce a series of ten small paintings from inside Westminster Abbey, some of which may later be worked up into larger paintings. The display will also explore the uniquely British custom of street parties, featuring part of the gallery dressed for a street party with plenty of coronation memorabilia. Oswestry will be hosting a live screening and huge festival in the market town’s central Cae Glas Park. North Ayrshire Table Tennis Club will be hosting a table tennis festival At St Matthew’s Academy on Saturday 6, Sunday 7 and Monday 8 of May to celebrate the King’s Coronation. Three days of table tennis for club members and players from all over the country to participate and get involved in. Saturday 6: Coronation Cup (banded event), Sun 7: Open Day & British Premier League match, Mon 8: Junior competition.
